So here’s something a few people have requested.
Everyone who gaming with other people has an alias, a different name, an online personna – a Gamertag. There are so many out there and many have different reasons for their tag.
This gaming alias makes it easier to distinguish between people – most of the time. Imagine if everyone used their first names, it would be ridiculous because you’d get things like Samantha1234 and Samantha 4321 etc…
So does a gamertag distinguish people by gender? Sometimes. I however find it hard to decide in my head whether a person is m/f from a gamertag.
Of course if some has the tag Flowerbunny, for stargirl, I’ll assume they’re girls. Otherwise most names areneutral.
If someone has a name like V1c1ous (Vicious) you’d expect them to be male and probably play aggressively if anything. I can’t really imagine someone with a tag V1c1ous who camps or doesn’t attack. Although I’m sure there’s probably one out there.
So my main tag. Ricochet.
Here’s what my dear friend Wiki has to say:
[I]“A ricochet (pronounced /ˈrɪkəʃeɪ/ RICK-uh-shay) is a rebound, bounce or skip off of a surface, particularly in the case of a projectile. The possibility of ricochet is one of the reasons for the common firearms safety rule “Be sure of your target—and of what is beyond it.”

So when I very first began on XboxLive I played Fps and fighter but this name fitted both. My bullets enjoy rebounding off people as do my characters kicks. In away anyway, that and Ricochet sounds pretty cool, but maybe it’s just me that thinks that!
(I’ve had different tags but this one stays since I began, others tags include Frantic and the likes of Digitz which I still use!)
